Tekken 7 developer Bandai Namco revealed that Noctis Lucis Caelum, the protagonist prince from Final Fantasy XV, will join the fighting game's roster in 2018. And as Noctis' reveal video shows, you'll get to take the fight to an iconic location from Final Fantasy XV as well: Hammerhead Garage.
There's no precise release date for Noctis' arrival in the world of Tekken just yet, but Bandai Namco promises he'll arrive sometime during spring 2018.
This wouldn't be Final Fantasy XV's first flirtation with a gaming franchise crossover. Recently, Noctis and friends were able to take part in a special Assassin's Festival in Final Fantasy XV, bringing a bit of Assassin's Creed flair to Lestallum with special outfits and more. This also follows the surprise announcement that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be joining Injustice 2 soon.
Tekken 7 is the latest entry in the long-running fighting series, boasting a story that sees Heihachi return in an effort to destroy his part-demon son, Kazuya. The game also features a guest character, Street Fighter's Akuma, who plays a part in the single-player story. In addition to the story mode, Tekken 7 packs a roster of 36 default characters, plenty of new customization options, and online features. Tekken 7 is available now starting at $59.99.
