In Short

Scalebound was an action-based fantasy RPG, previously in development for the Xbox One and Windows 10 set to release in 2017. Developed by PlatinumGames, the studio behind titles such as Bayonetta and Vanquish, Scalebound was initially set to release during 2017. On January 9, 2017, Microsoft officially confirmed the project had been canceled.

Taking control of a character named Drew and a dragon companion named Thuban, players were set to embark on a journey across the mystical land of Draconis. Using various weapons and powers, and the ability to control dragons, players would fight their way through the world’s hostile forces. The game would also offer a cooperative multiplayer mode, allowing four players to band together over Xbox Live.
