Solve the mysteries of Thimbleweed Park, now available for Xbox One

Thimbleweed Park, a modern point-and-click adventure game, is now available for Xbox One. If you enjoyed adventure classics like Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island, Thimbleweed Park carries the same DNA with some modern updates. And that's no mistake: Thimbleweed Park comes from the minds of Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, creators of both those classic titles.

Set in 1987, the story of Thimbleweed Park kicks off with the appearance of a dead body in Thimbleweed Park, but, as the game's tagline says, "in a town like Thimbleweed Park, a dead body is the least of your problems." You'll play as the game's 5 protagonists as their unique stories unfold around the game's larger narrative. And while the main story looks pretty mysterious, the bizarre world and characters will offer up plenty of humor as well.

Thimbleweed Park is also the latest Xbox Play Anywhere title to hit the scene, but you'll have to wait a bit to take advantage of that perk. The game is launching on Xbox One today, but the Windows Store release is still a couple of weeks away. Still, if you buy the game now, you'll automatically get the game on Windows 10 once it's available.

Interested? If so, you can pick up Thimbleweed Park at the Xbox Store now for $20.
