Lucasfilm's ILMxLAB has released Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine, a free virtual reality game that is currently an exclusive for the HTC Vive headset. The game is available to download on Steam.
The game's description says:
For the first time ever, wield a lightsaber as you leap into action in the most immersive Star Wars virtual reality experience ever. Be transported to the desert world of Tatooine, repair the iconic Millennium Falcon, and defend the plucky droid hero R2-D2 from incoming stormtroopers in this captivating experience set after the events of Return of the Jedi.
This won't be the only VR game from ILMxLAB. The official Star Wars site reveals that it is working on a Darth Vader-based title that will be written by David Goyer, screenwriter for movies like Blade, The Dark Knight and Man of Steel.
