Take a first look at Middle-earth: Shadow of War's action-packed gameplay

For Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor fans, the hype is real for the game's upcoming sequel, Shadow of War. To stoke the flames even more, a new trailer for the game offers a 16-minute deep dive into the gameplay and some of the changes you can expect when the game launches in August. Check it out below:
If you enjoyed what was arguably the most unique part of the first game, the Nemesis system, it looks like there's plenty to be excited about here. The changes to the system now allow you to pick up followers with unique abilities who can help you take the fight to strongholds you're attacking. Oh, and you can tame and ride a drake, which is just plain awesome.
To recap, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is set for release on August 22, and it will be an Xbox Play Anywhere game. That means you'll be able to buy the game once and play it across both Xbox One and Windows 10. For now, you can pre-order the game on the Windows Store.

Will be getting this day one
-
Wow, that is sick! It will be great!
-
This ain't running on an Xbox One or Ps4. This looks visually like the Scorpio/PC version.
-
PC definitely.
-
There is some rumours that the Scorpio version looks unbelievable. Apparently further rumours it will be shown off on Scorpio at E3. And hits native 4K.
-
I'll be all over this. Only game for XB1 I plan to get in 2017 so far.
-
I don't know if it is just me, but I'm kinda intimidated by the scale of this battle. Is it because I never played the first or is this game just really complex? But I do like how it is presented, I may get this on day one anyways.
-
While I am sure it isn't necessary, I recommend playing the first. You'll know what is going on as far as story and the original nemesis system (while quite impressive and helped the game to stand on its own) would better prepare you for this one as it is simpler. They brought it to another level this time around. But it isn't as complex to play as it seems.
