What you need to know

  • The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is coming to Xbox One on September 10.
  • It was announced a few days ago, but it's finally up for digital preorder.
  • The collection features a new Graphic Black art style with dynamic lighting.
  • You can preorder it for $50 through the Microsoft Store.

A few days ago, Skybound Games announced that The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series, was available for digital preorder on Xbox One for $50. Unfortunately, it didn't go up until now. Unlike the original releases, this collection features an all-new Graphic Black look. According to the new developer, get ready to play Clementine's epic journey again, complete with all the add-ons, developer commentary, documentary, and much more.

Even though Telltale Games is no longer around, Skybound has put a lot of care in updating one of the former developer's most popular games. According to the Microsoft Store, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series contains all four seasons, 400 Days, and The Walking Dead: Michonne. This package includes over fifty hours of gameplay across 23 unique episodes.

As Telltale released The Walking Dead in an episodic format, some episodes seemed like they had better visuals. Luckily, the Graphic Black style brings Season 4's enhancements to all the previous episodes. This means that there's dynamic lighting and much more to enjoy.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is also coming to PlayStation 4 and PC, but on PC, it's an Epic Games Store exclusive. While a lot of gamers won't be pleased by this decision, Epic Games is on a roll with Fortnite so they're scooping up major exclusives to give its store legitimacy.
