What you need to know
- Preorders of premium editions Watch Dogs: Legion will no longer include early access.
- Ubisoft said that it's refined the content found in premium editions of the game.
- Ubisoft also promised more story-based content in the Season Pass.
Players who preordered one of the premium editions for the upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion will no longer be getting early access to the game, as Ubisoft has pulled the perk from its launch plans.
Initially, people who preordered either the Gold, Ultimate, or Collector's Edition version of Watch Dogs: Legion would be granted early access to the game. This is something that Ubisoft has done for many of its bigger titles over the years, but it seems that may soon change. Instead, Ubisoft is now choosing to launch the game simultaneously for all users on Oct. 29.
Alongside the announcement, Ubisoft also said that it's been working on refining the content found in the game's premium editions to improve the players experience, and that it would be focusing on more story-based content for the Season Pass of Watch Dogs: Legion. It's unknown exactly what the refined content will be when the game launches later this year, but it seems as if Ubisoft is doing a ton to make sure players are happy with their purchases when it does.
Watch Dogs: Legion is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC and Stadia.
