WP7 emulator N9 skin

Oh, now this is rather lovely. Fancy jazzing up the Windows Phone 7 emulator with some Nokia N9 goodness? Of course you do! You can now with a skin designed by tezawaly, which when implemented provides the user with a choice of three colors (as shown above).

It seems every time I see more images of the proposed Sea Ray device (opens in new tab), I look at my current device (Omnia 7) and want Nokia to come to arms ASAP. You can find out more information and download the skin by using the link below. Did we mention it looks great in landscape too?

  • Rich why would you want to abandon your Omnia 7 so soon? It's pretty similar really in design and I honestly expect the screen quality will be better on the Omnia than the first batch of Nokias (I'd love to be proven wrong though).Locked into a 2 year contract here means that next October I'll be looking to see what options there are from both Nokia and Samsung...
  • It's missing the camera button.
  • Great, whoever designed the skin just filled in the buttons on the device, much better than a previous post showing those hideous emulator-like buttons :D
  • That's what the buttons should look like on the front. Under the glass. Very nice. :)
  • As for the screen quality on the Nokia not being up to Samsung standards - before I came to WP7, I had a Nokia C6-01 with the Clear Black Display. They're really very good you know...I'm stuck in a contract for the next 20 months (having jumped from the 'burning platform' for a Desire S, which I sold within a week) and I'm running an LG Optimus 7 now (at GBP180 brand new and unlocked I can't think of a better value phone, regardless of OS) - the OS is great, I'm looking forward to Mango and the phone's really impressive...but it's not a Nokia. I'll be queueing up when Sea Ray becomes reality.
