Warhammer 40,000: Darktide builds on the combat and co-op gameplay systems in Fatshark's previous Warhammer game, Vermintide 2. Darktide eschews the fantasy End Times settings for the Gothic science-fiction of the 40K universe, with esteemed author Dan Abnett writing for the game. Whenever Warhammer 40,000 Darktide does launch, it'll also be included in Xbox Game Pass.

Fantasy Warhammer isn't being left out this year however, with Creative Assembly's Total War: Warhammer 3 currently slated to launch in late 2021.
