Interop unlock found for the Lumia 800, intervened by Nokia

Over at the XDA Develop forum, HeathCliff has located a vulnerability in the Nokia Network Setup app, which would allow interop unlock and provide full root access to a developer/Chevron unlocked Lumia 800. Unfortunately, because of the publicity this hack has received, nanapho.jp reports that Nokia has unpublished the Network Setup app and that it's no longer downloadable from the Marketplace, though access to the xap appears to be still available but comes with installation issues.
