Every weekend, Windows Central streams an Xbox One game or two on Twitch for 1-2 hours and gives out free games to the cool people who join us during the stream. It's like a live podcast, only you also get to watch a game while chatting with our awesome readers and viewers!
Tonight we played Lifeless Planet from Stage 2 Interactive. Lifeless Planet follows an astronaut who awakens on a seemingly uninhabited planet, only to find evidence of colonization. Read on for quick impressions, contest winners, and the full video replay.

Inspired by 1950s science fiction, Lifeless Planet is an adventure game filled with exploration, platforming, and puzzle solving. It also features a rich narrative of mystery and paranoia.
Players control an astronaut who awakens on the titular planet, his ship crashed and his fellow astronauts nowhere to be seen. His suit suffers an oxygen leak, forcing him to scramble for another air source before time runs out.
As our hero explores the planet that he was sent to colonize, strange things start to happen. He sees things that shouldn't be there and might not even be real… But the seemingly abandoned Soviet town definitely looks real. Where have the inhabitants gone? And who is the women the astronaut keeps glimpsing?
Players who enjoy classic science fiction stories from Ray Bradbury and others will love Lifeless Planet's distinct atmosphere and story. The production values betray a low budget at times, but they add to the game's retro charm. Watch us play the beginning of this grand sci-fi adventure!
We streamed Lifeless Planet for ~90 minutes tonight. During that time, we gave out a total of 15 game codes:
- 10 for Xbox One
- 5 for Steam

How to watch Twitch livestreams
What's the best way to experience Twitch? The Twitch website on your PC or Mac web browser. If you don't have or prefer not to use a computer, you can get the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Xbox 360 Twitch apps and watch from the comfort of your couch. Android and iOS both have official and unofficial Twitch apps to choose from as well.
On Windows Phone, you'll have to grab an unofficial app. There are several to choose from, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Only one app lets you search directly for our channel, though. If you use the others you'll have to find and follow us from a web browser first. Read the roundup to learn more!
