Weather Flow picks up transparent Live Tile for Windows Phone 8.1 users

Transparent Live Tiles are all the rage these days due to Windows Phone 8.1. It’s just not us, either, as even Microsoft is urging developers to enable the see through feature in their apps. That’s why we’re excited to see Weather Flow pick up the feature in today’s update.

Weather Flow is one of the original ‘super gorgeous’ weather apps for Windows Phone, in fact, it goes way back to 2012! Weather Flow nicely embraces the whole Modern design paradigm so well, that many people still cling to it as their favorite (despite not picking up some advanced features).

Today, version 1.7 has arrived on the Store, just a month after the 1.6 update. Let’s see what’s new!

Weather Flow 1.7

  • Transparent Live Tiles for Windows Phone 8.1
  • Support for Turkish language
  • Bug fixes

Not a whole lot in terms of features, but Turkish language support is great, and the transparent Live Tile for the Metro option works perfectly.

Weather Flow runs for $1.99 in the Store with a free trial.

Bonus: There’s also a version for Windows 8.1 users found here in the Windows Store!

Thanks, Kyle M., for the tip!
