It looks like Microsoft may add a camera button on the lock screen in an upcoming Windows 10 Mobile Redstone update. Holding the on-screen camera button for one second launches the Camera app directly from the lock screen, making it convenient for those using phones that do not have a dedicated camera key.

The feature may make its debut in next week's Insider build, although there's no confirmation of the same. What do you guys think of the idea?
