One of our lead experts in reviewing gaming headsets, Zachary Boddy, lavished praise on the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro, giving it a perfect 5/5-star review.

I don't blame him, as this headset is indeed one of the best PC gaming headsets out there.

The sound quality of the earphones is excellent and crisp, thanks to this headset's Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm sound drivers with a frequency response that can go from 12Hz to 28,000Hz.

The same goes for its detachable mic with a sampling rate of 32,000Hz and a frequency response rate between 100Hz to 10,000Hz. So whether you're chatting to a friend online or taking in a game's immersive soundtrack and ambience, your auditory experiences are guaranteed to get a cinema-level upgrade.

Other features include 70 hours of battery life, THX Spatial Audio, Bluetooth connectivity, an ergonomic design that makes the headset comfortable to wear for hours without straining the user, and customizable sound profiles that can be switched at the press of its Smart Switch button.

Aside from not being capable of multi-source audio mixing between Bluetooth and HyperSpeed Wireless modes, the only drawback is that this headset doesn't work on Xbox consoles.

Thankfully, Razer has made another version of the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro for Xbox that also works on PC. It shares the same high-quality sound and engineering as the regular version, and is also having an early Black Friday sale for $119.99 at Amazon.

However, if you want the regular version to use with PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch hardware, then now's one of the best times to get one, as it's currently on a limited-time 35% discount for $129.99 at Amazon.
