FAQs
What laptop operating systems do these monitors support?
They are all compatible with Laptops running Windows 10/11. They also support macOS (except the Touchscreen and Lite models) and Linux (on a side note: the Touchscreen model supports Linux gestures while the others do not).
Will I need to install drivers?
The Pro models of the JSAUX FlipGo monitor use DisplayLink to activate their triple mode feature, so only they require drivers to function on macOS and sometimes Windows laptops.
Can these monitors charge my laptop?
Yes, thanks to JSAUX FlipGo Monitors' reverse-charge feature, which allows them to recharge a laptop it's connected to via USB-C cables if the monitors are plugged into an external power supply.
Do they come with a stand?
All models of the JSAUX FlipGo portable monitors come with a portable stand. However, compatible magnetic stands, VESA adapters, and folding stands are sold seperately.
Are these monitors good for gaming?
While they are capable of running low-end strategy or turn-based games, these monitors are not designed for gaming, especially high-end, fast-paced action games or online competitive games.
This is due to these monitors not having refresh rates higher than 60Hz, response times between 5-14ms depending on the model you're using, which can cause huge amounts of input delay, and they don't have VRR, FreeSync, or G-Sync support to eliminate distracting screen-tearing from games.
What are the three main viewing modes for these monitors?
The JSAUX FlipGo's main viewing modes include:
Dual-screen Mode — The standard mode where each panel acts as two separate display screens, which is included on all models.
Ultra Mode — A mode that combines the portable monitor's displays with the laptop's display to form a single ultra-wide display screen (Only the Touchscreen model doesn't have this mode).
ABC Mode — This mode enables your laptop display and portable monitor displays to act as three independent extended displays. It's compatible with laptops running Windows and macOS. However, this mode is not available with the Touchscreen model, and the Lite models' ABC Mode is incompatible with macOS.
