Razer's near-perfect Xbox controller and its wired counterpart are "Simply brilliant" for their controls and quality builds, and they're now 25% off
Amazon has special 25% discounts available for the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro and V3 Tournament controllers to help Xbox players to gain an edge over their rivals in online multiplayer matches at cheaper prices
Razer's Wolverine V3 Pro controller and its wired-only V3 Tournament Edition are currently some of the best controllers you can buy for Xbox, with their Hall Effect sensors, remappable controls, and other gameplay-enriching features.
If you've been eyeing these controllers for a while, then today's your lucky day. Amazon's Gaming Week sale has reduced the Wolverine V3 Pro's pricy $199.99 MSRP down to $149.99 at Amazon and the V3 Tournament Edition's $119.99 down to $89.99 at Amazon, for a limited time.
"Razer has finally made a wireless controller for the Xbox and overall it's absolutely brilliant. Combining the best aspects of previous Wolverine controllers, Razer has updated it for the present day with its excellent mouse switch technology, hall effect sticks and an ergonomic design that I would argue is better even than Microsoft's own." — Richard Devine, Managing Editor

"The Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition is the more affordable, wired alternative to the V3 Pro. It's the exact same foundation, with an identical design and controls, but drops with wireless connectivity and other extras, and dons a wire." ~ Zachary Boddy

What makes the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Controller worth a purchase?
Both the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro and Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition controllers are very similar in terms of build quality and performance.
They are both built with durable plastic shells that can withstand many years of gaming sessions, with rubberized grips and a smooth, ergonomic design that fits snugly in a user's hands while being comfy to hold.
Both controllers also feature responsive and satisfyingly clicky controls with four extra remappable rear paddles and two remappable claw grip shoulder buttons, so you can create shortcuts that perform special moves that normally require complex button combinations more easily.
Also, the V3 Pro and V3 Tournament Edition have Hall Effect analog sticks. They can detect a player's input with far greater precision than a regular analog stick for easier headshots in shooters, they're more durable, and they can prevent "Stick Drift" so your character doesn't make any unintentional moves without your input.
On top of that, they have Hypertriggers for faster shots or more precise aiming, and a 1000Hz Mode on PC to boost their input detection far greater than when they're used on Xbox consoles (which limit their controller's polling rates to 250Hz).
The V3 Pro and V3 Tournament Edition are some of the best Xbox controllers Razer has to offer, but which one should you choose?
If you're into wireless controllers because you want to avoid cable management, then the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro, which is on sale for $149.99 at Amazon, is the way to go.
However, if you don't mind using a wired-only connection and want the V3 Pro's powerful specs for even less, then we recommend going with the Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition, which is on sale for $89.99 at Amazon.
