What you need to know

  • Acer announced the Predator Triton 300 SE gaming laptop today.
  • The laptop runs on an overclockable NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor.
  • The Predator Triton 300 SE is available exclusively through Best Buy for $1,400.

To go along with its powerful processor and GPU, the Predator Triton 300 SE has 16GB of RAM and a 512GB of NVMe PCIe Gen 3 SSD. It also features Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 and Thunderbolt 4.

All of the specs within the Predator Triton 300 SE power a 14-inch 144Hz FHD display. With its CPU and GPU pairing, it should be able to drive many modern games at framerates that can take advantage of its display's refresh rate.

While the Predator Triton 300 SE packs in high-end internals, Acer highlights that it is reasonably compact, at least for a laptop this powerful. It is 0.7-inches (1.78 cm) thick and weighs 3.75 lbs (1.7 kg).

The specs of the Predator Triton 300 SE stack up well against the best gaming laptops on the market.
