Dell's Alienware Aurora line laptops are generally well-regarded for their well-rounded performance and build, and the Alienware 16X Aurora (AC16251) is no exception.

This configuration, which is 27% off at Dell, is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 16GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and an NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU.

During our review of the Alienware 16X Aurora (AC16251), we tested these specs (except the RAM; we had 32GB, not 16GB), and discovered this laptop can smoothly run graphically intense games like Cyberpunk 2077 at 60 FPS with Ray Tracing enabled and 1600p resolution, Forza Horizon 5 at 113 FPS at 1600p, and Gears 5 at 105 FPS at 1600p, all with Ultra presets.

Other notable features of this laptop include a 16-inch WQXGA display with a 240Hz refresh rate to help display a game's frame rates, a healthy range of HDMI, USB-C, and Thunderbolt 4 ports, a solid aluminum chassis with a sleek design, and a durable battery life.

For these reasons, we consider the Alienware Aurora 16X one of our favorite gaming laptops, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade the visual and frame-rate fidelity of their games without sacrificing an arm and a leg for it.
