AdDuplex's cross-promotion ad network now works with Xbox One apps

AdDuplex has announced that developers can now use its service to cross-promote their Windows 10 UWP apps on Xbox One. With this move, AdDuplex says that it is the first third-party ad network to add support for Xbox One apps.

Support comes via AdDuplex's latest SDK, which comes in at version 10.1. The SDK now support native Xbox One apps, and includes controller support for selecting and clicking ads. AdDuplex explains:

For Universal Windows apps that are already participating in the AdDuplex cross-promotion network, enabling Xbox One support is as easy as making sure your app runs AdDuplex SDK v.10.1 or newer and checking one checkbox in app details under Device Family

Meanwhile, if you're trying to add a new app with Xbox support, AdDuplex explains you'll have to create a new app record with Windows 10 set as the platform and Xbox selected as the device family.

This should be great news for any developer who already uses AdDuplex's cross-promotion network, especially if you're moving your app to the UWP platform and plan to add support for Xbox One.
