Bing is the name of Microsoft's online search engine and integrated search service. Previously known as Live Search, Windows Live Search, and MSN Search, it was unveiled on May 28, 2009 by then-CEO Steve Ballmer. Bing is the cornerstone of Windows and Windows Phone search, but is also licensed to Yahoo! for web search and Apple for Siri and Spotlight search.
