The Crunchyroll anime video streaming service is now available as a Windows 10 UWP app for PC and Mobile after previously being offered on Windows Phone. It offers access to thousands of Japanese animated TV episodes.
The app incorporates Windows 10 features like using Cortana to help search for the anime series you want to watch, and it also has a Live tile for the Start menu that shows the most recently updated series. Here's a quick description:
Watch over 25,000 episodes and 15,000 hours of the latest and best Anime 1-hour after TV broadcast, on all your devices. Enjoy current series straight out of Japan, and catch up on episodes of your favorite shows like Naruto Shippuden, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Parasyte, Fairy Tail, Hunter X Hunter, and many more.
While the Crunchyroll app is free to download and use, there is a paid Premium service that allows users to access more content with no ads and in 1080p. There is a 14 day free trial for the premium service.
