What you need to know
- Doom Eternal launches on March 20.
- The title is a first-person shooter with plenty of gore.
- The game is available for pre-load on Xbox One right now.
- You can preorder Doom Eternal for $60 at Amazon.
Doom Eternal is an upcoming first-person shooter that continues the story of the reboot. It looks absolutely spectacular on Xbox One X and should provide plenty of single-player and multiplayer enjoyment. In addition to Xbox One, Doom Eternal should be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It was also announced for Google Stadia a few months ago.
According to numerous reports, Doom Eternal is now available for pre-load on Xbox One. The file size comes in at 40 GB so it shouldn't be too taxing of a download. Let's hope that the file sizes are better on Xbox Series X because this generation has gotten a little ridiculous.
If you preordered Doom Eternal digitally, be sure to download the file now because it'll take a few hours on a standard internet connection. Are you excited about the game? Let us know.
