Every AAA Xbox One game released in 2019 (so far)

Games made by AAA developers are among the best experiences available on Xbox One, and there hasn't been any shortage of AAA titles in 2019. However, it can be hard to keep track of game releases, especially since so many smaller games and indie titles come out daily. Fear not — we've compiled a list of every AAA game that has come this year on Xbox One.

Metro Exodus (opens in new tab)

★ Featured favorite

Metro Exodus is an absolutely outstanding post-apocalyptic survival shooter from 4A Games, featuring tight gameplay mechanics, a detailed world to explore, a fantastic story, and some of the best visuals and sound design in gaming. Without a doubt, this is one of the best games so far in 2019, and one that you shouldn't miss out on.

If we had to choose

All of these different AAA releases are great in their own way, and each game offers something that the competition does not. However, if I had to personally recommend a game to buy it would be Metro Exodus (opens in new tab). I think that it's the best game of 2019 so far thanks to its excellent story, engaging and tense gameplay, and expertly-crafted atmosphere.

Fans who are looking for something extremely fast-paced and with tons of explosive action should check out Crackdown 3 (opens in new tab) and its combination of high-mobility movement style with a wide open, destruction-focused sandbox. Gamers that want something slower, methodical, and challenging will love Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (opens in new tab) as it will require you to be patient, clever, and cunning in order to succeed against its brutally difficult enemies.
