Forza Horizon 3 snow expansion teased with latest car pack

Microsoft has unveiled the cars coming to Forza Horizon 3 this November, offered as a part of the Alpinestars Car Pack. Alongside the seven new vehicles, a small teaser has been provided for what appears to be a snow-themed expansion.

Forza Horizon 3's Alpinestars Car Pack is set to arrive later today, available for both Xbox One and Windows 10 copies of the game. While the pack is included as a part of the game's Car Pass, the pack can also be purchased separately for $6.99.

Here's a look at the contents of the new Alpinestars Car Pack:

Arriving today, the Alpinestars Car Pack brings seven new cars to Forza Horizon 3. Leading off the pack are a pair of beloved drifting legends, the 1998 Nissan Silvia K's and the 1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7; two of the most requested cars in the Forza community. The Alpinestars Car Pack also features a chunk of Australian racing history in the Ford Falcon XR GT, a street-legal racer in Dodge Viper ACR, and more.

At the end of today's announcement post, (opens in new tab) a small teaser was also provided for Forza Horizon 3's first expansion. With a simple image showing a Lamborghini Centenario draped in snow, we can expect an icy overhaul this holiday season.

  • Wait, it snows in Australia?????
  • According to wikipedia (consider the source) it does https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_of_Australia
  • Looks like they do lol
http://m.radioaustralia.net.au/international/2013-09-12/7-things-you-may... Btw how are you? It's been sometime last seen you on stream/neverwinter
  • Doing fine, you? I haven't had any interest in Neverwinter in some time. The content's just way too stale (if they'd get the game to run even close to smoothly, I'd be more likely to come back). I've wanted to see the last several streams though, to be honest. Only issue is I've had to either go out of town or watch the Cubs in the playoffs a bunch, so I've been tied up. To boot, supposed to move and have the Internet switched over this Saturday, but I can hopefully make it.
  • It certainly does! Not in regions depicted so far in Forza (costal, rainforest, outback) but we have some mountainous regions in the South East where it snows in Winter. We have ski fields and everything.
  • Yes, but only on the top of mountains.
  • This game just looks like loads of fun, going to be saving up with this one so I can play with my wife from my PC and her on the Xbox One. Will be a blast!
  • The only car expansion I want will include the Tesla Model S P100DL and Tesla Model X P100DL.
  • Yep! That's the only car pack I will buy.
  • Is this free with the ultimate version?
  • Nope, but you do get a $10 discount.
  • The new cars are free with the Ultimate Edition. But the Snow expansion will cost money.
  • The $10 discount is only applicable if you purchase it before 2016 ends
  • This looks epic!
  • But it doesnt even Snow in australia.  And with it being released this holiday, it would just bother them to experience something unreal.  I feel bad they can never experience christmas on cold snowy weather/
  • it snows in the winter in the thredbo region. https://www.thredbo.com.au/activities/winter-activities/  our christmas' are hot. i do want to experience a snowy xmas sometime though.
  • yeah!! now they just need to add a snowball fight option
  • It'd be really cool if while snowing the snow actually starts to build up
  • I'm not sure if our current game systems could really pull something that off very well.
