Forza Horizon 4 is an upcoming racing game which features innovations like a shared world and seasons. However, gameplay is also changing up quite a bit. In order to progress, you have to earn "Influence". Influence is used to unlock events and participate in other challenges.
If you love to stream on Mixer, you're in luck. If you're broadcasting or watching Forza Horizon 4 on Mixer, you'll earn Influence and other rewards. The company seems to be encouraging streaming this time around so that it'll increase the game's visibility on the platform. A post by Microsoft said the following.
Once your accounts are linked, you'll automatically start earning influence every five minutes you spend watching your favorite Forza Horizon 4 Mixer streamers tear up the track. If you're a broadcaster, we've got you covered too! Every two minutes you spend streaming Forza Horizon 4 on Mixer, you'll get some Influence of your own, with bonuses awarded for larger viewing audiences. You'll notice a small ribbon badge located near the game title on Mixer, which indicates that the stream is eligible for earning in-game influence.
Even if you're a casual player, streaming Forza Horizon 4 will earn you a lot of Influence, so just keep on broadcasting even if you don't have a large audience.
The game should launch on October 2, 2018. If you purchase the Ultimate Edition, you can play it on September 28.
