It's hard out here for PC builders, what with extortionate RAM and storage prices, so I'm always on the lookout for sales and discounts that can help you finish building your next gaming PC.

I found this processor, motherboard, and memory bundle that lands you 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6400MT/s RAM for just $150 at Newegg when you buy it alongside Intel's latest and greatest gaming CPU and a high-end ASUS ROG Strix Z890-E Gaming WiFi motherboard.

Why is it better to buy PC parts in a bundle these days?

Since AI datacenters began to hungrily eat the world's RAM supply last year, prices for consumer DDR5 have hit insane prices. That's been terrible news for PC gamers hoping to upgrade or build new systems, but there have been some opportunities to avoid the price hikes.

One of those opportunities has just landed at Newegg, where a bundle with the core components of a gaming PC is on sale for $259.98 less than usual. That means that the 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6400MT/s RAM included is theoretically down to about $150 from the usual $410, assuming that the CPU and motherboard are purchased at their full price.

Isn't it a blast performing mental tricks to avoid feeling completely gouged by price hikes out of our control?

Anyway, this is actually a sweet bundle that doesn't just toss in a so-so processor and motherboard to clear out stock. This is Intel's brand new Core Ultra 7 270K Plus that just launched last week to a very warm reception.

In our Core Ultra 270K Plus review, Windows Central Senior Editor Ben Wilson stated the new top-tier chip from the Core Ultra 200S Plus lineup "offers tremendous performance" at a price that "severely undercuts its rivals." You can see how the Core Ultra 270K Plus chip compares to other CPUs we've recently tested in these graphs.

ASUS ROG Strix gaming hardware is no joke either, and the Z890-E Gaming WiFi board is often a top pick for enthusiasts who want stellar performance (and 18+2+1+2 power stages), Wi-Fi 7 support, Thunderbolt 4, and RGB lighting.

This is one of the most impressive PC gaming bundles I've seen in a long time, especially for the discounted $799.99 asking price. And I'm not just saying that. I'm a PC gamer too, and I love to help you save money wherever possible as we await an end to the RAMpocalypse.

Can I buy this bundle and return everything but the RAM?

Unfortunately, no. Newegg requires all three pieces of the bundle to be returned together to be eligible for a refund.
