If you're looking to upgrade your PC gaming setup, you could be in for some sticker shock. With PC parts becoming more expensive each month, saving on accessories can be the difference between building your ideal gaming PC and putting off upgrading your system.

The Razer Viper V3 Pro is an excellent gaming mouse, but you don't have to pay full price for it. Right now, you can grab the Razer Viper V3 Pro for $119.99. That's a $40 discount on a mouse with a 35K optical sensor and an 8,000Hz polling rate.

Windows Central review ⭐⭐⭐⭐½

The Razer Viper V3 Pro is a premium wireless gaming mouse. It features a symmetrical design, though its side buttons are designed for right-hand use.

While it no longer has the highest specs available, the Razer Viper V3 Pro has an impressive 35,000 DPI sensor, and optical mouse switches rated for 90 million clicks. It also supports Razer HyperSpeed Wireless up to 8,000Hz.

"It should come as no surprise that the Razer Viper V3 Pro impresses when it comes to performance. After all, that's exactly what this mouse is all about. "

Zachary Boddy

In what will come as no surprise given the specs of the mouse, the Razer Viper V3 Pro feels "instantaneous and buttery smooth," as shared in our review.

Of course, the Razer Viper V3 Pro cannot be highlighted without comparing it to its direct successor. The Razer Viper V4 Pro launched yesterday.

As you'd expect, the new gaming mouse is better in many ways. The Razer Viper V4 Pro has longer battery life, a better sensor, better switches, and a higher maximum DPI.

The Razer Viper V4 Pro also has an improved dongle with better connectivity.

If you want the best mouse from this family of Razer mice, the Razer Viper V4 Pro is the one to get. But that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

The better question is, do you really need to pay $159.99 for the Razer Viper V4 Pro when the Razer Viper V3 Pro can be bought for $119.99?

The Razer Viper V3 Pro is an excellent mouse designed for competitive gaming. It's been the preferred mouse among pro gamers for a reason.

Only a select type of gamer will take full advantage of the Razer Viper V3 Pro, let alone the max-specced Razer Viper V4 Pro. The newer mouse from Razer is overkill for most PC gamers.

The Razer Viper V3 Pro delivers excellent performance and is phenomenal. Anyone shopping for a gaming mouse a week ago would have jumped at the chance to get the Razer V3 Pro for $119.99.

It's not quite the lowest price ever because of a few brief spurts for specific shopping events, but it's an excellent deal on a premium gaming mouse.
