Halo Infinite is inbound and while we got to see some gameplay at the recent Xbox Games Showcase, we also got the news that Gareth Coker will be helping to compose the soundtrack. Coker has worked on a variety of projects but is best known for composing the soundtracks for the Ori games.

Now, 343 Industries has released the first official track composed by Coker. It's called Set a Fire in Your Heart and can be heard during the end of the gameplay demo. You can listen to the track in the video below.

In an interview on Halo Waypoint, Coker talked about how he is drawing from the 'pillars' of Halo's legacy while also introducing new material. He also explained that he wanted to deliver, in musical form, "what does it feel like to be Master Chief?" Coker is one of three composers working on Halo Infinite, as he's joined by Joel Corelitz and Curtis Schweitzer.

343 Industries has talked extensively about some other things that players can expect, such as details on the story and how ray-tracing will be coming post-launch.

Halo Infinite is expected to launch at some point in Holiday 2020 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
