Updated May 23, 2020: According to VG Tech, Mafia II: Definitive Edition runs at 1800p on Xbox One X.

Mafia II is one of my most favorite games and it looks like Mafia II: Definitive Edition is around the corner. Today, many users on Reddit posted a link to the game's page on the Xbox Store. It looks like it's 43 GB on Xbox One and has a launch date on May 19.

Since Mafia: Trilogy was revealed today, this may just be a placeholder date. As with any such leak, treat it with a grain of salt until we receive official confirmation from 2K Games. We've reached out for confirmation and shall let you know as soon as we get a response. Since the description also said that it's launching on May 19, I think we can count on that.

Remastered in stunning HD detail, live the life of a gangster during the Golden-era of organized crime in America. War hero Vito Scaletta becomes entangled with the mob in hopes of paying his father's debts. Alongside his buddy Joe, Vito works to prove himself, quickly climbing the family ladder with crimes of larger reward, status, and consequence. However, the life of a wise guy isn't quite as untouchable as it seems.

The Xbox Store says that the game runs at 4K resolution on the system, so it should look incredibly crisp on the console.

Are you interested in the game? Let us know. Hopefully, it'll be priced reasonably and not $60.
