Microsoft introduces new Outlook features to improve calendar and schedule tasks
New free-form calendar and suggested time features are on the way

What you need to know
- Outlook Web and Mobile are getting new features today.
- Outlook Web is getting a new free-form board view in Calendar.
- Outlook Mobile is getting a new AI-driven suggested times feature.
Announced at Microsoft's virtual Ignite conference, the company is today introducing (opens in new tab) new Outlook features for Outlook Web and the Outlook Mobile apps that will help customers better manage their time with new suggested times and free-form board views in Outlook Calendar.
The new free-form board transforms the Calendar experience available in Outlook Web with customizable vision tools for organizing and managing calendars, files, reminders, and to-do lists. The new suggested times feature is available for business customers using Outlook Mobile on iOS and Android.
Suggested times will use AI to suggest times where all participants in an email thread are available for meetings, which is often hard to see on a small screen. The AI will understand the meeting owner's requirements, preferences, and priorities to suggest times to meet when attendees are free, even if the meeting owner isn't.
These new features are rolling out now. What are you most looking forward to using? Let us know in the comments.

and yet...we still can't get a unified inbox...
-
You know, I have a unified inbox on iOS, it's Outlook as a matter of fact. I hate it, because I have no way of telling which e-mail account a particular e-mail came in on.
-
Scheduled tasks made me expect something new for Task Scheduler.
