  • You didn't miss much. Except that Microsoft may be acquired by Adobe. Soon.
  • More like MS will buy Adobe and then disband it.
  • That's funny as hell, lol
  • It sure would have been nice for Microsoft to at least acknowledge that they have a mobile platform.
  • They are going to disown it. Not too bad of a move though because mobile will decline in the coming years in favour of the next big thing such as holograms or contact lenses or wearables or whatever.
  • A good commercial message for Windows mobile would be: Why use android for versatility and iPhone for stability when you can have both in a dual sim Surface phone. Dual sim they have from late Nokia, they miss only those two other
  • +1 all talk of the future and integrating with the individual, but nothing concrete the average windows user can relate to
  • Exactly, nice stuff for tomorrow, nothing for today (and today is the next 1-2 years).
  • They did the 3d sand castle scan with an HP Elite x3. I'm amazed the news outlets aren't talking about that more. I thought that was awesome!
  • They probably thought that it was the awesome camera of the iPhone 7.
  • Seems like doing a 3D scan with an HP Elite X3 acknowledges the platform somewhat.
  • ms is killing the game
  • Worse than church, just read the articles
  • Well nice idea about that thing with the people but shouldnt they make it first so people app remembers your linked contacts xD ?(yea went to the hub months ago me and many more)
  • My thoughts on what went down today.....   I have a concern about Microsoft leaving the common person behind.  I enjoy and appreciate all the items they create for the businees sector, but what about affortable laptops, tablets, etc.... for the consumer???  Or, is that the job of the other companies that produce such items with Windows 10 as the operating system???? And, Windows 10 Mobile does not get a mention.  Sorry, but I believe Windows 10 Mobile is dying.  I won't feel otherwise until something (ANYTHING) new is announced about the platform.
  • Agreed.  They are doing some cool things for creation with Windows 10 but for the average consumer, whoop-de-friggin-do.  Disappointed does not cover how I felt about this presentation.  The Surface Studio looks amazing but is outside what the average consumer will be able to afford, and yes, I know it is targeted toward creators.  I just wish they would have given us common folk something, anything. They may not have mentioned Windows 10 Mobile but they did have that tiny cameo of the HP Elite X3, so there's something...  So sad...
  • Is Natella on this presentation? I'm afraid I might throw my Window's phone through my television.
  • Yep, the last 5 minutes or so.
  • all we get from the surface studio is the keyboard and mouse in australia
  • Sad huh? I wouldn't mind the Dial but yeah... I reckon we'll see these like in March next year...
  •  I watched the replay on BEAM.Pro where you get live VOD chat replay! its amazing peoples reactions!!!!
  • no surface phone :))) well, fanboys, MS f**d you up again :))
  • Who really thought that was going to happen? Everyone should have known that wasn't going to be announced.
  • I loved the innovation at the event and also the presentations. It is all about doing somrthing different. Everyone is making mobile phones and the cheap chinese ones are the only ones really making a profit. I think the future is cheap mobile phones and premium ones. But the money is with the cheap ones. In my opnion the Surface brand is taking shape now, in the future MS will come up with a moble phone, but they are not in a hurry. I am with them on this path. I have a Windows 10 mobile I love it, however, my next phone will be an iphone or a cheap chinese phone. And whenever Microsoft does come up with a Microsoft Phone I be certanilly be back for good, provided its awesome ;-) I loved the innovation at the event and also the presentations. • "Everyone is making mobile phones and the cheap chinese ones are the only ones really making a profit." No only profit is in high end, Apple is making most of the profits, so NO. And yeah there is more tech but mobile is the most personal computing that there is today and for some years for sure maybe for some decade even so staying out of it is plain stupid. It's not like thay cannot innovate for tomorrow while keeping todays customers satisfied, they think they can skip this generation of devices, good luck to them.
  • Well I actually enjoyed watching that, yes mobile could have been a bit more evident, but we know that story, but the one thing I enjoyed (With a perverse smile on my face) was when one presenter said "Hey Cortana" (She who's name must not be spoken) and my Xbox One, desktop and 950 XL (Surface Pro 3 must have been on the blink) all responded.....................
  • Surface phone, Surface pro 5 and surface watch are all coming out next year. They are waiting for new processors. But surface phone would be like a Lumia 950 with a nice design and maybe a pen added. Not expecting a phone that would run x86 apps yet.
  • A wet dream my friend.
  • When can I get the Capture 3D app for my HP Elite x3?
