  • looks like a L710 picture to me.
That site is a bit sketchy on the details, the Euro L900 mentions 910's in the description.
Think they are just going after pageviews by puttnig things up early, expecting them to come in no earlier than anywhere else.
  • It's legitimate! They say they have the wrong picture up, and it will be fixed.
  • Image on the site is now fixed with a 610 being pictured.
  • Phew!! that is cheap, more people to WP7, affordability is the name...
  • Was expecting to be cheaper. this should be £99 at the most. You can buy a Lumia 710 for £150 from Vodafone.
  • How? :)
  • Vodafone selling it PAYG in-store only
  • Thanks Paul! I'll try my local store this week, I like Nokia build quality and at £150 it'll be good enough to replace my C5!
  • True. I've got the Lumia 710 here, 150 quid from a VodaFone shop.
You might have to visit a couple of shops, as VodaFone staff seem to be a bit thick.
I went to one shop, had no phones, no idea of the deal. Literally went 5 miles up the road and got the phone and they knew about it and sold plenty.
For 150 quid, its astonishing. Nokia Drive is excellent, screen is sweet (better than my LG Optimus 7) very fast device. Battery is good (its what I was worried about). Love mine.

Agree with the OP on this bit of the thread, needs to be 100 quid.
  • Thats as maybe but you cannot buy an unbranded Lumia 710 from Vodefone at that price. This is an unbranded unlocked phone with no subsidies. Guranteed free on just about any monthly Tarriff and a sure fire winner for Pay as you Go customers.
  • Er.. yes you can. VodaFone 710 Lumia, 150 quid from VodaFone.
If you get a contract one on Pay as you Go, its unlocked. Mine is.
Debranding is easy. I can send anyone the link, but Google it, its using Nokia Care Suite (via XDA forums). I left my branded, as its only 1 splash screen on boot. Who cares about that! And then delete 2 apps.
My phone is as vanilla as the LG Optimus bar that splash screen. If you really want to get rid of it you can. (And apparently its almost impossible to brick your phone with Nokia ROMs and Care Suite).
Its a cracking phone for the money, probably the best value smartphone in the UK at present. Even Orange San Fransicso owners are trading up. Believe brothers.
  • They should have made it $5 more expensive and put in the extra 256MB RAM it needs to not be crippled.
  • Go and view the Elop interview with Miriam on Engadget. Apparently you cannot notice the difference. I like you would want the extra 256, but don't assume its crippled, cos apparently its not according to Miriam.
  • The Lumia 610 will make huge impact in getting WM7 known to more people.
