The SteelSeries Apex Pro mechanical keyboard has a ton of awesome features, including some you didn't even know you needed. In 2021, it was our favorite keyboard for gaming, too. Right now you can get this excellent keyboard for its lowest price ever at $149.99 through Amazon. That's $50 off its normal price and only the second time it has ever dropped below $160. We shared the last time it dropped, which was just to $155. You're saving a bit more this time around, and it's a safe bet today's deal will last as long as the last one (less than a day).

The OLED display helps you adjust settings and track stuff on the fly even while in game without pulling up a different window. Made with a lifetime durable aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. Customize actuation distance. Full RGB lighting.

We reviewed the Apex Pro back in 2019 and gave it a perfect score of 5 stars out of 5. Rich Edmonds said the keyboard is "unlike anything I've used before, and I doubt it'll be beaten, even by future typing platforms with my beloved low-profile switches. If you can stretch your budget to accommodate the price — and you've already got a kick-ass gaming PC — I cannot recommend the Apex Pro enough."

One of the ways the Apex Pro sets itself apart is with that little OLED display in the top right corner. Think of it like an integrated and informative command center. You can see all of your settings and adjust them on the fly without even looking at the computer. You won't even need to open some other sort of software or tab out of your game to tweak the keyboard exactly as you want it. Use a third party program like Spotify or Discord, and you can use your OLED display to see info like what song is playing and thinks like that.

Beyond that you get some other excellent features like RGB lighting that can be customized to your preference, a magnetic wrist rest to help you feel comfortable and supported, and more. The mechanical keyboard is also made with aircraft-grade aluminum alloy so it's incredibly durable and will last you for years. You can even adjust the actuation distance of the mechanical switches thanks to the OmniPoint feature.
