The Outer Worlds is an upcoming first-person adventure game from Obsidian Entertainment. Despite the fact that the team is now a part of Xbox Game Studios, this game is available on PlayStation 4 — and will be coming to Nintendo Switch.

This morning, the reviews embargo lifted for The Outer Worlds, and we finally heard what critics thought about the game. Windows Central gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars, and it seems like many other reviewers were impressed with the experience. You can take a look at a roundup below.

  • TheXboxHub: 5 out of 5

You can take a look at even more scores on Metacritic and OpenCritic. It's great to see that this game is getting stellar scores because Microsoft really needed strong first-party titles to bolster its lineup. Hopefully, when the inevitable sequel hits, it'll be an even better and more expansive experience.
