PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is a battle royale game focused on scavenging weapons and using stealth or other tactics to be the last person alive. While the player count has dropped in recent months, it's still one of the most popular experiences out there.
Recently, the gulf between newcomers and veteran players has become extreme. Many times, new players are unable to even get a single kill before they're killed by someone who's been playing the game for years. Well, in an effort to change that, developer PUBG Corp. is adding bots on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Joon Choi, Lead Project Manager, said the following on the game's website.
Hopefully, this will result in less frustration. However, I can't help but think that there are better ways to eliminate the growing rift between players of various skill levels. Only time will tell how the addition of bots is received by gamers who still play PUBG.
PUBG is included with Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass is a monthly subscription service that gives you access to over 200 games for $10 a month on Xbox One. However, if you're an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you can bundle Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Live Gold together for $15 a month in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
