What you need to know

  • Microsoft's Pride skins are on the way.
  • Expect to see rainbows on Edge and Surface products.
  • Official news can be expected in June, but for now, we have previews of what's to come.

Ever the aesthetic wizards, Microsoft's done it again. We're past the cool Clippy wallpapers and have now moved on to Pride aesthetics for the tech giant's upcoming style offerings. As posted on Twitter by Aggiornamenti Lumia, rainbows and right angles are on the docket for a whole host of Microsoft products.

Microsoft Edge is about to look a lot more hip, as is the Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop. You can see the full lineup in the Twitter thread, but here's a juicy taste of it:

Aesthetically, you probably see a pattern between the images. Ninety-degree bends? Yep. Lots of colors? Most definitely. But only the nice, inoffensive room-temp kind. No neon action or oversaturated energy will be on display this year.

Be ready for official announcements in June. Perhaps Microsoft will have more patterns or variants on display for a wider arrangement of products in the upcoming weeks, but for now, bask in the glow of the available gear and get ready to stylize the heck out of your Microsoft lineup.
