Sea of Thieves 'Creator Crew' helps content creators, detailed in new video
Now, what's this all about?

What you need to know
- Sea of Thieves is a pirate adventure game from Rare.
- The title is going to get another time-limited event on September 11.
- A Creator Crew program is also launching soon to help streamers improve their content.
- You can access Sea of Thieves through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (opens in new tab).
Sea of Thieves is an open-world pirate adventure where you can find treasure on your own or with friends. There's a lot to do, and the title's popularity continues to grow due to its excellent post-launch support. Luckily, there's a lot more content coming in September.
The next Sea of Thieves event starts on September 11 and it's called Smuggler's Fortune. It was previously referred to by another name, but this more accurately reflects what it's about.
However, the bigger news was the introduction of the Creator Crew. Since more than 500,000 people have streamed the game on Mixer or Twitch, Rare wants to provide streamers with a place where they can collaborate.
There will be two tiers to the Creator Crew. You can either get the starter pack or an advanced one which gives you direct access to the developer. If you're just starting out streaming, you'll probably want to get the starter pack. However, if you're an established streamer, then you'll want to engage Rare directly. The details, and possibly pricing, are unclear at this point. Those should be revealed soon.
