Shocktober sale brings discounts on games and movies at the Microsoft Store

As part of the sale, more than 56 Windows games (opens in new tab) are either on sale or have new content to check out. That's in addition to a slew of horror-themed Xbox games that have been discounted alongside this week's Deals with Gold sale. Meanwhile, a swath of spooky movies (opens in new tab) are discounted to help gear up for Halloween. Here's a look at some of the highlights from the Microsoft Store:

For more, you can find the full Shocktober sale lineup at the Microsoft Store (opens in new tab). And if Xbox games are more your style, check out the expansive list of Shoctober Xbox Spotlight sales for this week.

  • So all the bottom of the barrel stuff is on sale... sweet!!
  • It's all halloween stuff.  What did you expect?  I've seen most of these movies and they are far from the bottom of the barrel.  IMO.
  • They should offer a discount for Arizona Sunshine, for those who are WMR equipped. Great game. But I'm glad they didn't, because I bought it recently and any discount on it days after would annoy me.
