One game is not enough. You need hundreds of them, and Microsoft is here to help faciliate that. If you've already gotten a taste of some of what Microsoft has to offer, you could be eligible for free access to hundreds of other options. Right now there is a unique trial being offered to select gamers out there where you can acquire PC Game Pass for free for three months. In order to qualify, you first need to be someone who has never subscribed to PC Game Pass before. Then, you need to have played one of Microsoft's big three games: Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, or Age of Empires IV, sometime between when those games launched and February 28, 2022. If you fulfill those requirements, check out the link and sign up.

That's three months of PC Game Pass for free with full access to the entire content library. After the three months are up, the subscription will continue at its regular price of $9.99 a month. You can cancel that anytime, but you'll still get $30 of value without paying a dime. Unfortunately not everyone will be eligible for this, but even if you aren't you might still be able to snag a month of PC Game Pass for $1 if you're interested.

The people eligible for this promotion are limited. You have to be a new subscriber to PC Game Pass, and you have to have played Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, or Age of Empires IV sometime between their launch and February 28. If that's you, then you can save big and get access to hundreds of games for three months.

You only need to have played one of those three games mentioned above to quality for this offer (and that does include the Halo Infinite free-to-play multiplayer, by the way). But guess what? All three are available on Game Pass! So if you haven't played them all, now you can! Plus you'll have access to tons of other games, including some smaller but creative titles like Nobody Saves the World or Spiritfarer (both games I have played and really enjoyed).

Game Pass is an ever-changing entity with old games dropping out and new games coming in. One thing that's always certain is Microsoft puts its best titles on there from Day 1 so you can always play the latest and greatest. If you want to know more about the games coming and going, check out what's new in April.

Of course games aren't the only perk either. For example, Microsoft is working on a Family Plan that will allow multiple accounts in your house to use the same pass to play games. The more Microsoft adds to Game Pass the better the value gets, especially if you're getting it for free.
