Square Enix announces new game for PS5, PC — Project Athia
Square Enix is working on a new game, Project Athia, for release on the PS5 and PC.

Square Enix, along with new studio, Luminous Productions dropped an announcement today in Playstation 5's "Future of Gaming Show" streaming event. Project Athia is the working title for a fantasy game in development for the PS5 and PC.
The trailer shows a world reminiscent of Final Fantasy and a female protagonist. Watch it below:
Takeshi Aramaki, the director of the project, said in a blog post that the studio is designing the game to compliment the capability of the new PS5 and accessories.
"Project Athia is the culmination of our philosophy here at Luminous Productions to create completely new and fresh gaming experiences that fuse together the latest technologies with art," he wrote.
The release date of Project Athia has not yet been announced.

So, it still wont take advantage of the SSD.

Yeah, I am a little confused as well. They make it sound like it can't run on the Xbox, but with there being so many different speeds of ssd on pc (even nvme specifically), it would be hard to describe pc specs.

This game looks interesting, the graphical style reminded me of Final Fantasy 15. No third parties will take advantage of Sony's SSD, unless it is a completely exclusive or a first party.
