Starlink: Battle for Atlas goes up for preorder on Xbox One
Better buy those toys.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a shooter which focuses on piloting spacecraft and blasting towering foes. The game features physical ships which you can buy and control in the game. The business model is similar to that of Disney Infinity or Skylanders.
If you're into toys-to-life games, then be sure to give Starlink a shot. Ever since the game was revealed by Ubisoft, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding it. This is mostly due to the visuals and combat. Hopefully those who don't purchase a multitude of toys won't be at a disadvantage.
Starlink is currently available for digital preorder on the Microsoft Store for $59.99. If you want to purchase the toys, you'll have to head over to Amazon or another physical retailer.

Serious question:
Is this toys for life business model still booming like the Skylanders days? It will be interesting to see how they can differentiate themselves to pull in sales of the physical items. Let's hope they don't run out of certain models and make it near impossible to find a ship (looking at you Skylanders). -
I don't think it's booming at all anymore.
