Surviving the Aftermath is the next game in Paradox Interactive's "Surviving" brand and will launch in late 2020 on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Luckily, the title will be available through Epic Games Store Early Access and Xbox Game Preview later this year.
Nikhat Ali, the Lead Producer on Surviving the Aftermath and Surviving Mars at Paradox, said the following about the new project.
With the staggering growth of Surviving Mars this year we knew we had something special and we wanted to find new ways to utilize survival management gameplay. Surviving the Aftermath gives us the opportunity to experiment with these mechanics in new and interesting ways that we think our players will love.
From what Windows Central was told, Surviving the Aftermath will be set in a post-apocalypse setting after an asteroid impact, much like Rage 2. It's probably going to be like Surviving Mars, but only time will tell. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more.
