Hands-on with Torrex for the Xbox One coming in the next few weeks

BitTorrent client Torrex Pro has picked up a major update, adding a built-in media player and the ability to start streaming media while it downloads to your device.

Torrent downloader Torrex Pro is on sale right now for just $0.10. The discount only applies to Windows 10 users, and is only available for the next three days.

Developer Finebits has announced a load of new features are rolling out to its lineup of apps, including Torrex, Metro Commander, 8 Zip and Files&Folders.

If you happen to do a little bit of torrent downloading on your Xbox One with Torrex, the app has picked up the minor, but nifty ability to let you manually set your download folders.

A small, but nonetheless useful update is headed out to Torrex that fixes a playback bug for HoloLens users, allowing them to now watch movies and videos in the app.
