These are some of Bing UK's top searches of 2017
By Dan Thorp-Lancaster published
Every year, Bing releases a list of its top searches. Here's a look at what was rocking the UK in particular in 2017.

The year is winding down, which means it's time for the usual onslaught of year-end lists. For Microsoft's Bing search engine, that means a look at all of the top searches throughout the year. In that tradition, the Bing UK team has released an interesting look at what was on the minds of searchers across the Isles for the past year.
Some interesting tidbits provided by Bing show that Kim Kardashian remains the top celebrity search on Microsoft's search engine, coming in with a 43 percent lead second place winner and royal-to-be Meghan Markle. And though Brexit still remained a major search term, it was outpaced by 17 percent by Strictly Come Dancing-related queries, and 24 percent by Game of Thrones-related searches. Other major topics of interest included Uber's London license ban, Wimbledon 2017, and, unsurprisingly, fidget spinners.
