  • Sammy Hagar has a fun little album out called " Lite Roast", acoustic versions of a lot of his tunes just 2 guitars and him singing. Really good stuff for Hagar fans.
  • Microsoft should give to gold subscribers 1 artist album and 1 movie rent every month. That will be awesome to get more people!
  • Or just pay $10.00 a month and get unlimited music.
  • I have already Xbox music pass. But will be nice 1 free rent monthly.
  • Or bundle Xbox Music Pass with Live, which makes more sense
  • Yeah but I wouldn't pay 100 bucks for Xbox music
  • I pay a $150 for it plus tax. The best money I spend is on XBOX MUSIC! It is worth every penny for me as it is my most used subscription.
  • I can't listen on Xbox music and don't why?
  • i might sound a little stupid but can anyone tell me how to play these songs on Xbox music
  • Use our forums.
  • everytime i open the link it calls Xbox music and nothing happens
  • It isn't available in India actually. For us, Xbox music is just for playing stored music and not for downloading. Download Music+
  • Media on WP?... Not the best experience.. One of the problems is that WP multitasking sucks! If I have music playing, I don't want it stopped when a video clip starts unless I choose for it to.. Then it erases your place.. This is BS, and I have to admit that WP would be better if it had the overlapping, true multitasking like Android... Hopefully WP10 adds this..
And, to anyone who doesn't like this idea, and is concerned with battery life,,, simply don't use it! But, don't say that I shouldn't have the choice of having more PC like multitasking.... Maybe MS can make a multitasking tab in settings with sliders that we can turn on, or off, choosing our level of multitasking.. That would please EVERYONE! No one could not like to have that option.. This is a no brainer.
This isn't Android, but it's also not iOS, and an OS that's called Windows should be less PC like than Android... It's all about implementation. I have faith that MS can do it right.. Market it, no, but design it right, yes..
  • I do agree with your idea of multitasking on windows phone... Apart from what you've already expressed, that "Resuming..." thing on my 520 is really annoying. I don't see that on my 930 though. But I'm as well concerned with multitasking on low ram devices, unsure how ram partition for running apps shall work, if implemented, then.
Right now, system performance is made fluid at the price of "True multitasking" so ;) ...
  • Yeah, I don't remember WP resuming so much before.. It's getting ridiculous, and is totally cheapening the experience.. I'm not sure if it's something that developers are not doing right, or if it's the OS... For example, if you're typing a message on FB, and you get a text, when you return to FB it does that annoying resuming thing, and you have to start over typing your massage.. Annoying!
  • I had similar experience. But unlike facebook, it was when I was typing a reply (err... long reply) in the WPC app! Then I had a phone call. When I returned to the app, all my typed text were nowhere to be seen! I've noticed one thing though, it doesn't happen with WhatsApp! Probably because WhatsApp saves every bit of temporary data as the user inputs. Now, if they save inputs to their own servers and not the app itself, then Microsoft should be blamed. Otherwise, it's all developers' fault. Honestly, I doubt that though...
  • 512 mb ram is the main reason of bad multitasking. apps like fb messenger crash while multitasking. loading resuming screen issue should be looked now by Microsoft. i have even seen this sometimes on my dads 630. buy that loading is just for a less than the second conpated to my 720.
  • You're right. And what's most annoying is, I see that resuming screen way too much more now, after updating my 520 to Cyan. Lumia 630 on the other hand, processes faster as compared to 720 because of the quad-core processor, so lesser duration of resuming /loading screen.
At any case, it's a matter of concern that needs to be fixed soon enough by MSFT, as they've decided to support 512MB devices further.
  • I have a 1520, and it's still bad... But, I'm not talking about the current nature of multitasking.. Im saying that WP needs PC like multitasking. Full multitasking.
  • The $4.99 for the X-Men is in SD. Microsoft still charges ah...errr.. a 1 dollar "convenience" fee for HD and SD respectively. On a side note, just realized all this stuff is linked. So, uh...I find that very convenient. Thanks!
  • Still listening to Tove Lo's!
Can't get enough of her voice :P
  • Ive had it since it came to Canada. Bring on family share!
  • I'm listening to Rick Ross' new song featuring R. Kelly ... Keep Doin' That (Rich B****). It cracks me up everytime ... "Her Puppy is Named Panamera!" Lol.
Also, The Game released his new album Moon Blood: Year of The Wolf, I only heard Black on Black so far & I kinda like it ... Not as good as his early works, but definitely good for a Cash Money release.
On a side note, LL Cool J released the music video for "I'm Nice"
  • The game album is actually very good. He hasn't been disappointing with his releases.
  • Cool, I'll check it out when I get a chance. Thanks
  • Love the series Sam! Keep up the great work
  • Vampyre Nation is a free movie rental on Xbox Video this weekend.
  • Nothing wrong with x box music. But I still prefer Mix Radio. Tracks/albums are generally cheaper to. Hope this App continues to be spotted by MSFT.
  • Thanks for the recommendation. I never heard about SBTRKT before. I like the album.
  • If only Sonos had Xbox music integration I would be all over it. Unfortunately they don't. Not holding my breath either. Sonos seem to be unaware of the fact that MS have mobile platforms...bastards.
  • Seems like ...a year ago I had torrented (sp?) days of future past....geez.
  • Would be nice if there would be a all access Xbox Subscription to Gold Music and unlimited downloads to Xbox video for movies and tv seasons/episodes
  • This article doesn't seem to be in a language I understand. Kids these days...
  • Meh, still cheaper to rent from the video store, just like it's also still generally cheaper to buy games in store than digital download. They're just not quite there yet.
  • The game - blood moon: Year of the wolf
  • Dropped on the 14th. Cop that.
