Xbox One S 2TB Launch Edition $399 pre-order now live at the Microsoft Store

Arriving this August is the new Xbox One S from Microsoft. With a slimmer profile, integrated power supply, HDR gaming, 4K output and a brand new Bluetooth wireless controller we suspect many people will be picking this summer.

Microsoft is now accepting preorders for the Xbox One S with no expected ship date, but it should be sometime in August. While the 500GB version starts at $299, the 2TB Launch Edition is higher at $399.

Update: Microsoft lists an August 2 release date when you place your order

  • 40 Percent Smaller Console.
  • 2TB Hard Drive.
  • 4K Ultra HD Video and High Dynamic Range.
  • 1 New Streamlined Controller.
  • Xbox One S Vertical Stand

If you prefer Amazon, you can also pre-order the 2TB Launch Edition from them for $399 as well. However, Amazon currently shows an August 31 release date so if you want it first, you may be better off in going through Microsoft.
