It's almost here!
What you need to know
- Yakuza Kiwami is a third-person action game from Sega.
- The series was a PlayStation exclusive for years.
- It's finally available on Xbox One.
- Yakuza Kiwami launched a few hours early on Xbox Game Pass.
Updated April 21, 2020: is available a few hours early on Xbox Game Pass. You can play it through the subscription service or buy it for $20 on the Microsoft Store. It's available on Xbox One and PC.
Yakuza Kiwami is one of my most favorite games because it's over the top and features great fighting mechanics. Unfortunately, the title was limited to the PlayStation 4 and PC for years, but it's finally coming to Xbox One on April 22. Today, the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account revealed this.
The best part is that you don't need to buy it for $30, or whatever it'll cost at launch, the game is coming to Xbox Game Pass tomorrow. However, usually Xbox Game Pass titles join the service at 8 PM the previous day, so it may launch soon.
