Today’s a very busy day for Windows Phone users and developers all over the world. A host of exciting new features in Windows Phone 8.1 have been announced today by Microsoft at Build 2014. Nokia also announced two new phones – the Lumia 630/635 and the Lumia 930. Chris Weber, Nokia’s executive vice president of global sales and marketing, is going on Twitter to answer your questions. Details below on how you can participate.

Nokia Conversations sat down to speak with Nokia's EVP for sales and marketing, Chris Weber. Going into some detail about what changes are happening at Nokia since Microsoft announced the purchase. So if you've got a few burning questions on your mind about what's going to happen with the new partnership, be sure to head on past the break for some snippets.

Generally speaking, if you don’t see Windows Phone Central report on some magical sounding rumor, it’s because we either know it to be false or don’t have faith in the story—not because we’re behind. And while we’re not perfect either, the recent report of Nokia Executive VP Chris Weber supposedly telling the Bangkok Post that Instagram was coming to Windows Phone, seemed highly unlikely.

We get it, you get it, and everyone gets it, the camera on the Lumia 920 kicks ass. Whether devouring photons in low-light situations or reproducing great audio in videos, the 920 can handle it all with aplomb.

So here is another one of those videos showing off a killer feature unique to Nokia and their PureView technology, specifically the optical image stabilization. The video puts a Lumia 920 and a competitor on a hexacopter at the Nokia Lumia 920 launch event in India.

How close are we to a Nokia Windows Phone 8 device?

If there is one thing we can say about Nokia and Microsoft lately is that both companies have faith in their products. Whatever the sales or marketshare figures show, the Windows Phone OS and Nokia hardware are a brilliant combo.

So we’re relishing the words by Chris Webber, Nokia’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, who Tweeted this morning a nice little message to rival Samsung:

“Samsung take note, next generation Lumia coming soon.”

It is a bit unusual for companies to directly call each other out so publicly, which is why this probably has garnered so much attention. If we wanted to deconstruct that tweet a bit we could highlight the usage of “note” by Weber as a hint to Nokia’s upcoming Windows Phone 8 plans. Samsung has quite successfully launched and sold a few GALAXY Notes in recent months (see our hands on when we compared it to the HTC Titan).
