  • "Acer is updating its ConceptD 3 and Concept D3 PEzel Convertible, CondeptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro, and ConceptD 7 Ezel and Concept D 7 Ezel Pro." Seriously Acer ??? Wa!!! I think you have to be an ingeener to understand their lineup. the names are phonatically too close, to hard to understand.
  • I think the naming is actually based on the painters ezel (where the hinge lends itself well for).
The 'ConceptD' is just the name for this series.
The 'Pro' part is self explainable I think.
And finally the 3/5/7 which seems a bit randomly refer to the price, screen size and screen properties. Not the most clear naming system but not to bad I think.
  • Not that hard. You have a standard non-hinged model (conceptD), a model with a hinge but more consumer specs (ConceptD Ezel), and a version with specs for creative professionals with or without hinge (ConceptD Pro and ConceptD Ezel Pro). Going up numbers means going up screen size/available specs.
  • I have to say that I absolutely LOVE my conceptD 7 Ezel. I got the one with rtx2080 super (studio) and 8 core intel. It is a dream to work with for video editing, photoshop, illustrator, etc. It is just buttery smooth, incredible color pallet, amazing writing experience (about a billion times better than my old surface book). The only drawback to the writing experience is the stowable pen could be a bit fatter - but you can use other wacom pens.
