Nuclear Winter players have a new map to look forward to in Fallout 76's latest patch. The battle royale mode will now feature Morgantown, which according to Bethesda's patch notes, features "diverse terrain and new enemy creatures to overcome." Players should also encounter faster global matchmaking as a result of this update.

Some other notable highlights from the patch include Public Event improvements and balance changes. Fast travel is now enabled to Public Events and players will no longer drop junk upon death during one in adventure mode. UI tweaks have also been made in Public Events to offer more information such as how many players are currently participating and how long has passed since the event started.

And of course because this is a Bethesda game, you can expect a host of bug fixes along with stability and general performance improvements.

In other Fallout 76 news, Bethesda announced Project Clean Appalachia. For the next six weeks, players can take part in community events in the game that focus on cleaning Appalachia and earn special rewards as a result.
